Here I am launching a new series of articles on Ckkapoor featuring some of the success stories of Bloggers and Entrepreneurs which inspired me. In the very first article let me introduce Akshara Aduru from Edugeeks.in who has been blogging since an year as of now and making over $2000 per month alone with adsense just working part time.
About Akshara Aduru:
She is currently working in HCL Technologies. She started blogging as a hobby and now she is completely addicted to it. She also said that she is about to leave her job shortly to blog full time. The best thing is that she has achieved everything till now by just working part time. Her Adsense earnings is 5 times of her salary but due to force from parents and as of now blogging is not considered as a full time profession in India she was forced to do a full time job as a Software Engineer. How Edugeeks Started?
Akshara started her blogging by taking training in SEO. She also lost a lot of money investing in hosting and domain which she was not aware of in the beginning. Later she started exploring Blogging herself and gained a lot of knowledge related to on page SEO, keyword research. With her knowledge on keyword research she started posting article on Edugeeks which is related to Jobs, Education. In the span of 3 months she has gained a lot of exposure on this particular sector of audience (i.e Jobs and Education based).
Its growth and downfall:
If everything goes as per our plan in life then there won’t be any place for happiness and this is what even happened to Akshara. When everything was going well her site was deleted by some unknown people. Later the site was down for about a month. Then she some how managed to make the site live and moved to a new hosting. Even though the site was down for around a month the site traffic was back to normal within a very short span of time.
Why Edugeeks was successful?
To be successful in blogging or any field, you must have some kind of uniqueness and dedication, passion towards your work. Akshara Aduru is very hardworking since the beginning. Her hard work played a crucial role in the success of blog. But along with hard work you must also have some kind of uniqueness to stand out from the crowd. Then she started providing materials for the people who are preparing for competitive exams. When I say materials over here its not the materials that she downloaded from the Internet instead she herself wrote over 500+ materials which are available on her site for free. She started getting a lot of regular readers to the site. Especially her General Awareness is the best collection of articles and materials available on the Internet.

Edugeeks gets over 30,000+ pageviews every day but this count may go upto over 100,000+ pageviews due to some seasonal traffic during exams and results.

As of now Akshara hasn’t got much time to explore more on earnings. Her main aim is to build a good product and earnings follow with the growth of the site. Her primary method of monetization is Google Adsense. Along with Adsense she also accept direct banner advertising, sponsored posts and sometimes she also works on Affiliate Marketing which she is stressing on more now.
Alone from Adsense she is making over $2000 per month as of now.
Being hard working is a very good thing but along with that you must also have some kind of uniqueness to stand out from the crowd. Today even though there are hundreds of blogs coming up with lots of new articles every day. Blogging is becoming saturated day by day. To stand out from such kind of competition you must come up with extraordinary content. If you are just writing normal content then I think you won’t be successful in long run. Akshara Aduru is an inspiration for many including me, especially for the women who are looking forward to become independent.
